Welcome to My Blog (finally)!!

The reason that I say finally, is that this blog has been a long time in the making!  Too long, but hey, I’ve been busy stamping!!

Through this blog I will be sharing my love of rubberstamping and scrapbooking, and hope to make many new friends!

A little about me:  I first started scrapbooking about 25 years ago, back in the good old days of magnetic sticky photo albums, but at least, my photos were in the album, with a little journaling and some memorabilia from each event.  I then graduated to using supplies from a well known scrapbooking company and learned how to safely and creatively scrapbook and completed about 30 big albums over the next several years, full of great photos, journaling, stickers, colored card stocks, designer papers, and all kinds of accessories!  Those of you that are scrapbookers, know what I’m talking about!

Through a co-worker I was introduced to Stampin’ Up! and after attending a workshop, I just had to have every alphabet stamp set so I could stamp my own titles for each event that I scrapbooked, (I was so tired of alphabet stickers as I was forever running out of letters that I needed for my title and had a bunch of letters left over that didn’t make any words that I wanted to use).  I also had to have every wheel to make my own background papers, every stamp set to further decorate my pages, and before long, I realized that I needed to sign up as a demonstrator to support my (fun) habit!!

That was seven years ago, and I’m having more fun than ever stamping and scrabbooking!  I have met so many wonderful people that love to craft like me, and with me!  I have a very fun and rewarding business with Stampin’ Up! and have a wonderful downline here in Hawaii and on the mainland (even have one downline in Japan/APO).  I would never have met so many of these wonderful gals if not for Stampin’ Up!
