Layered Labels!
Sorry, I meant to post this card last night, but if you live in Mililani, you know we had a power outage! I was working on my computer when boom, I was totally in the dark!! I bought a battery powered lantern a couple weeks ago and stumbled out to the garage to find it. Two stubbed toes later, I found it and low and behold it takes 8 D batteries!! Since I only had two on hand, I resorted to candles until the power came back on a couple hours later! Oh how I take electricity for granted!!
Over on my Sisters in Stamping blog this week, we're showcasing the Paper-Piercing Packs! There's one in the big catalog and one in the Holiday Mini catalog! I love these new Paper-Piercing Packs and how they match stamp sets, punches, dies, Edgelits, and Framelits! Makes your paper-piercing soooo easy!!
For this card I used the Layered Labels stamp set, which has a coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits set, and the coordinating Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack! I also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.
After piercing, I added two Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the ends of the sentiment. I was hoping for a masculine look, so I guess I could have left the rhinestones off, but they were calling to be used on the card and I couldn't resist!
I used the September Creating Pretty Cards sketch over at Craft Project Central, which made it even easier to create this card! Check out the sketch which comes with a free mini sketch tutorial each month and a chance to win a free subscription!
Thanks as always for stopping by! I hope you have a fun weekend and get some stamping time in!
