With autumn fast approaching, it's time to turn our thoughts to sweaters, crispy leaves, and Thanksgiving dinners (October 8th for our Canadian friends!). This project will help you get set for your family get together by providing instructions on a warm and inviting holiday table setting, including a centerpiece, place cards, favors for your guests, a 'grateful' box for your guests to write what they are grateful for, and so much more! Just add the food, the family and friends, and you're ready to go!
Thanksgiving is quickly approaching! Every year we have Thanksgiving at my sister's house because she is such a great cook. We have the full Thanksgiving spread of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes (real ones), gravy, yams, green bean casserole, warm rolls, and of course pumpkin pie! I decorated these candles to give to my sister as a hostess gift that day. I'll contribute to the dinner that day too by bringing some type of food, but for those of you that know me, cooking is not my forte!! I'm more along the lines of a vegetable platter type of gal!
I used the Leaves #2 Big Shot die to cut out the leaves, and stamped them with the En Francais stamp and then ran them through the Big Shot with the Finial Press embossing folder.
I picked the colors for the leaves to match the colors found in the beautiful Spice Cake Designer Series Paper!
It was a fun and easy gift to make for a great hostess!
Have a great weekend and as always, I'm here to help you with your Stampin' Up! crafting needs!!
If you're looking for a way to give some Halloween/Fall treats, this cute little pumpkin box, and it's coordinating card are perfect! With the ribbon "stem" you can either hang the box for a fun decor piece or use it as an easy pull-up handle and hide some special treats inside!!
My first thought when I saw this project was to put Circus Marshmallow Peanuts inside and give them as fall gifts to the kids' teachers!
This yummy dessert recipe is the perfect end to a romantic Valentine's dinner. Oh what the heck, the kids will love it too! Make it for everyone! Add this "lovely" recipe to your Craft Project Central recipe collection! I know several of you made all the recipe pages from last year and made books to give away as Christmas gifts!
This week on my Sisters in Stamping blog, we focused on the Decor Accents Blocks. I decided that since I wanted something to decorate my entry way , I would make a set of fall blocks. Living in Hawaii, I really miss the fall weather and the changing of the colors. I even miss the snow!
And here is a little closer view. I ran the leaves through the Big Shot with the Finial Press textured impressions embossing folder.
