Reflection Technique
I love learning new techniques and the Reflection Technique is one of my favorite! I love the calm feeling of the image reflected in the water. I created a Reflection Technique page and card using the technique for Craft Project Central for the month of February.

Each month we'll spotlight a different technique that you can learn and put in a technique book! I hope you'll head on over to www.craftprojectcentral.com to see this and other projects designed for January, February, and now March!!

Bigz Die Spotlight for Fabulous Friday!
This month the focus for Fabulous Friday is the Big Shot dies. I have to admit when Stampin’ Up! first announced that we were going to start offering the Big Shot, I wasn’t that interested! I love stamping and didn’t know then how much it would enhance and add to my stamping and other crafts!
My guest bathroom is decorated in browns and Fleur De Lys pictures and other baroque accents. I thought it would be neat to add my own personal decorating touch and make my own Decor Element! I used the Tulipe Bigz Die and our Chocolate Decor Elements Sheets. I ran the decor sheet through the Big Shot using the Tulipe die and then transferred the cut out die to the mirror.
It was so easy and inexpensive to do and now I want to make more! The hardest part about the whole thing was taking the pictures so I could show you how it turned out. The lighting in the bathroom is very soft to begin with, and then the flash on my camera kept washing out the image (who takes pictures of mirrors anyway?!?) and then I didn’t want my image in the mirror, so anyway, I hope you can get a good perspective from my photography!

Here is the big picture…

And here is the close up! If you want to see it better in person, you’ll just have to come on over!
If you’d like information on creating your own personal decorations using the Big Shot and our decor elements sheets, please call or email me!

Shimmer Paint!
Happy Friday! This Friday, I’m posting a card that I made using the Frost White Shimmer Paint from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I also used the Kind Thoughts Brocade Small Decor Stencil. I used a sponge dauber to daub the ink through the stencil. It was very easy and more shimmery in real life than the picture shows. I’m going to be using the Shimmer Paint on some of my holiday cards for sure!

The card stock colors I used are Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, and Whisper White. I also used the Large Oval and Scallop Oval punches, and the Ice Circle Rhinestones!

The Frost White Shimmer Paint #116854 is $5.95 a bottle and the Kind Thoughts Brocade stencil is #116572 is $9.95.
To order these or any other Stampin’ Up! products, please call or email me, or if you’d rather shop online, you can do so from my web site at www.stampinwithjacque.stampinup.net.
