Save the Dates!
My group, The Pacific Stampers and I have several very fun events scheduled for this year! Here is a calendar of events for you! I hope you'll mark the dates on your calendar and plan on joining us for these fun events!

You'll notice that in addition to our regular Stamp Camps, we have a couple special camps planned. May is National Scrapbooking month, so we will be doing a special Scrap Camp that month. October 2 is World Wide Card Making Day, so we have a special Card Camp planned that day. And you won't want to miss our Fifth annual Holiday Stamp Camp! Invites will be sent out approximately six week before each of these events! Call or email me for more information.

Monthly Birthday Card Organizer!
This handy little birthday card organizer was designed by Shelby for Craft Project Central. Inside the Keepsake box are monthly calendar dividers to write birthday's on that you don't want to forget, and you can file a bunch of birthday cards between the dividers!

Check out www.craftprojectcentral.com for this project and other great projects designed for January and February!

Brenda always makes a fabulous welcome sign for our events, as well as favors to thank everyone for coming. This event was no exception. Brenda made a beautiful framed welcome picture and matching favors. She even stamped the tissue paper!

New Catalog Stamp Camp!
My group, The Pacific Stampers and I held our New Catalog Stamp Camp on Sunday. It was a big success and everyone had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from the event!

Every camp, Brenda makes a fabulous welcome sign and this camp was no exception! Brenda used the Build-A-Bear die and put a monkey head on the bear body. Oh and she added a cute little tail too! She used the Varsity Alphabet for the letters and the Trio punch for the flowers! Toooo cute!!

Brenda also creates the favors for us. Here is the money/bear with a little Sweet Treats cup (from the Holiday Mini Catalog) with some yummy M&Ms in his tummy! Too cute to even open up and get at those M&Ms!

Here is the check in table, waiting for all of our guests to arrive!

Here is a close up of the customer bags filled with all kinds of fun stuff!!

Part of the benefit of being a Stamp Camp helper, is that you get to put your retired sets and accessories out for sale. We love selling our retired items as they get a new loving home, and we make room to buy more goodies!

The Big Shot has become a staple at our Stamp Camps! Everyone loves using it. Here is Lorinne helping some gals learn how to use this great crafting tool!
Here are the projects that everyone got to make!

This Baroque Motifs Favor Box was designed and lead by Jenn! Very elegant with a great combination of colors and great for gift giving!

This pretty little vase is personalized with a Decor Elements initial and flower. Everyone loved making this as most had never used the Decor Elements before and were surprised that they could be used on a textured surface! The vase was designed and lead by Naoko!

This darling little Halloween Goodie Bag uses the Build-A-Bear die and the Kooky Spooky die. Just in time for Halloween, the kids will love getting treats in this little bag!! Designed and lead by Shelby!

This elegant Medallion Inspiration Book was designed and lead by Jane! This is a perfect little book to keep notes on things that inspire you! The book itself inspires me to create!
I didn’t get to take as many pictures at this camp as I usually do as I was so busy helping our our guests! We have such a fun time at these events and I have such a great group! If you would like information on joining my group, The Pacific Stampers and joining in the fun, please give me a call or send me an email!

Happy July! Sorry for not posting for so long. I’ve had my 12 year old niece from California, Cassandra in town for the last two weeks, and life has been fun and busy!
Here are some pictures from our recent Summer Stamp Camp! Our next camp will be a New Catalog Stamp Camp on Saturday, September 12th. Let me know if you would like information on registering!

Welcome to Stamp Camp! Brenda Ballesteros always makes a fabulour welcome sign for us as well as darling favors. This time was no exception. The little welcome train was a hit with everyone as were the little backpack favors!

Each customer had a cute bag with all of their project materials waiting form them when they arrived.
Shelby Nakama made the darling bags for us this camp!

Brenda and Jenn Sunada helped everyone get checked in, get their favors and a door prize ticket!

Stamp Camp just wouldn’t be the same without some great door and card contest prizes!!

Not to mention a yummy lunch, drinks and snacks! Stampers need their energy!

Lorinne Nakahata did an embossing demonstration. She demonstrated some great dry embossing techniques!

Camp also wouldn’t be the same without our very talented and hard working Pacific Stampers demonstrators.
Here are Jane Nishiguchi and Traci Tomomitsu. Both were project coordinators at this
camp and designed great projects and helped everyone make them!

This project was designed by Naoko and is a little mini explosion book, made with the Rockabilly DSP!
If you would like information on attending our next camp, let me know! Hope to see you there!

May 31st Scrap Camp
Well my group, The Pacific Stampers, and I held our very first Scrap Camp! Unlike our regular Stamp Camps, where we make 3-D projects, at this one everyone got to complete an entire 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" Scrap Book! (You can see the completed scrap book under the scrapbooking catagory.
The day was a big success and everyone loved their completed album. In addition, we donated $5 from every registration to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii. So the event while being fun, was also for a very wonderful cause .
Here are some pictures from the day:

Happy Scrappers Kehau, Nicole, Chalette, and Wendy.

Happy Scrappers Paula, Kristin, Faith and Joni

Happy Scrappers Linda, Andrea, Jan, and Faith.

Happy Scrappers, Gayle, Blanche, Sonya, and Jenn.

Happy Scrappers Amy, Kailani, Sydney, and Sheryl.

Happy Scrappers Bess and Kathy.

Happy Scrappers Kelly and Jayne.

Happy Scrappers Sherry and Deb.

Happy Scrappers Marce and Theresa.

Happy Scrappers Mav and Pam.
Since this camp was for a special event, Ronald McDonald House Charities, we received some donations that we used as door and raffle prizes. We received four gift cards from the store In My Closet, four gift certificates from Blue Water Grill and three gift cards from The Alley. A big thank you to these merchants!

Kristin was a happy door prize winner of an In My Closet gift card!

Lisa was a happy door prize winner of an In My Closet gift card!

Marce was a happy door prize winner of an In My Closet gift card!
We had some great raffle prizes that included wonderful stamping products, and also The Alley gift cards and Blue Water Grill gift certificates! Raffle prizes had a value of over $100!

Paula was a happy winner of another raffle prize!

Kailani was a happy winner of another great raffle prize!
Each camp we have a card contest. Guests can make one or more cards using Stampin’ Up! products only. The maker of the card is anonomyous and everyone votes on their favorite card. The winner of the contest gets a prize.

Here is Andrea with her winning card (the card on the right). Both cards that she entered were very nice!
In addition to the great stamping, door and raffle prizes, we also have a demonstrator who demonstrates either products or techniques. At this camp Joni demonstrated tools. She demonstrated the Circle Cutter, the Crop-A-Dile, the Stamp-a-ma-jig, and the Color Spritzer Tool. She is a teacher so you can image how fun and informative her demonstrations are!!

We had a very fun day and although I tried to get pictures of everyone and everything, they didn’t all turn out. As you can see by some of the pictures I did post, I’m a better stamper than photographer, but I’ll keep working on it!
Our next camp is Sunday, June 28th. The registration deadline is Friday, June 12th. Call or email to register as you won’t want to miss this fun event! And if you can’t attend that day, we also have project packets available for $10 (plus shipping if the packets needs to be mailed), which includes materials to make four projects and includes color instructions (stamps, inks, and adhesive are not included). Hope to see you at Summer Stamp Camp!!

Upcoming Scrap Camp 5-09
May is National Scrapbooking month so my group, The Pacific Stampers, and I will be holding our first every Scrap Camp on Sunday, May 31st. At this Scrap Camp, we will be making a full 8 x 8 scrapbook that includes 20 pages that once finished will be ready for you to just put your pictures in!
We will also be donating $5 from each registration or kit sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Honolulu. I hope that you will be able to join us on this fun day and help donate to this worthy charity. Please call or email me for registration information or to purchase a packet if you can’t attend on this day!
Here are some pictures of what the finished album will look like!

Here is the front cover that you will decorate with the initial of your choosing. Also shown is the inside
front cover and the first two sets of pages.

Here are the next three sets of pages!

The next three sets of pages!

And finally, the last two sets of pages, the back inside cover, and the back outside cover of the album! These pictures do not do justice to the beauty of this wonderful album! Many of the pages are made with textured card stock, and have die cuts and other embellishments that are hard to capture in photos like this!
The early bird registration deadline is Friday, May 1st, and the final deadline is Friday, May 8th. Again, please let me know if you would like information on registering or purchasing a kit. I hope that you’ll be able to join us for this fun event!
