Pacific Stampers Stamp Camp!

My group, The Pacific Stampers, and I held another very fun Stamp Camp last month!  At our Stamp Camps, we make four 3D projects, have door prizes, a Silent Auction, a demonstration of new products and techniques, retired sets for sale, chocolate on the tables, and last but not least, a yummy lunch, drinks and snacks!  Here are a few pictures from the day!

Here is the welcome sign and favors that Brenda made for our guests!

A close up of the soooo cute welcome sign!

And a close up of the soooo cute favors (that had chocolate in them)!!

Here's a picture of the customer bags made by Reina using My Digital Studio and embellished with matching flowers!

A close up of one of the soooo cute bags!!!

Door prizes ready to be won by some lucky stampers!!

And here are some of them!!

And the projects!  First is the Bliss Notepad Holder designed by Naoko.

And the Bold Blossom Magnetic Bookmark in a package with a cute topper ready to gift, also designed by Naoko!  (I just noticed in this picture that I put my bookmark back in the packaging upside down!)

And a cute Create a Cupcake Pocketbac holder designed by Sonya.

And this pretty Petal Cone Die favor designed by Jenn.

I mentioned that we have chocolate on all of the tables!  Steph made these cute little M&M holders!

All that stamping made us hungry so we had some yummy lunches.  There were three different types of chicken to choose from and brown or white rice!

And fruit, cookies, lemonade, and iced tea!

Krista put together another fabulous demonstration table!  Here she shows some new products from the Occasions Mini Catalog and how they match with the Sale-a-bration Ice Cream Parlor products!

More Sale-a-bration items and a sample of what you can easily do with them.  Such a cute card!

Here Krista showed how to dye the Vanilla Rosettes using reinkers, how to crinkle ribbon, and how to use the new trinkets from the Occasions Mini Catalog!

She also showed some cute thing that can be made using various tools (petal cone die, tulip frame embossing folder, fun flowers die) and embellishments (buttons and ribbon) from the mini catalog.

So you can see why these gals are such happy stampers!  Thanks to Penny (in the middle), who took many of the great pictures shown in this post!

Our next camp is a Scrap Camp coming up on May 15th to celebrate National Scrapbooking month!  If you'd like to attend, please let me know!  We'd love to have you come stamp and scrap with us!!

Pacific Stamper’s Scrap Camp!

This past Sunday we had another very fun and successful Scrap Camp!  Since May is National Scrapbooking month, and we've received many requests for scrapbooking, our group put together this fun event!  Everyone made a full 6" x 6" tropical scrapbook!

As usual, Brenda made our favors and welcome sign.  For the welcome sign Brenda used My Digital Studio!  For the favors, she made these cute little photo frames for everyone!  Too cute!

Shelby designed these beautiful customer bags and name tags. Everything matched the Tropical Party them of the scrapbook.

As usual, we had great door prizes to give away!  Between the door prizes and Silent Auction items, most everyone went home with an extra little (or big) goodie!

Here are a couple items that we auctioned off in the Silent Auction.

Krista put together a GREAT demonstration on some ways to make your own embellishments.  Blake, her sister came to help and give moral support.

Krista demonstrated step-by-step instructions on how to make our own cute little buttons!  I can't wait to make a bunch of these myself!!

She also showed us how to use Rub-Ons to decorate brads, buttons, and ribbon!

How to use re-inkers to dye our ribbon to match our card stock!

How to use the same design for a scrapbook and/or a card.

And, finally, how to make great embellishments using the new Stampin' Up! Shimmer Paint.  Thank you Krista for teaching us so many cool techniques!

Happy stampers !

Here is a picture of the album cover.  Everyone chose the initial to put on the front.

And a couple of the page layouts.

If you would like information on attending our Stamp Camps, please feel free to call or email for information on upcoming events!
