Eat Chocolate!

Okay, I have a confession to make…ready…I'm not a chocolate person. It seems that if you're a stamper, you're supposed to be a chocolate lover too! But I never crave chocolate, and even if it's in my house (which it always is for the other chocolate-loving stampers that come over), I rarely eat it, and am never tempted by it! And it's not just chocolate, it's sugar that doesn't really appeal to me. I'd much rather have salty food and snacks. When I go to the movies, I'm usually looking forward to the popcorn more than the actual movie!

Having said that, I still really love the cute little Eat Chocolate stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog! I can't help looking at the little chocolate pieces and thinking about the times that I've gotten a box of chocolates and taken a small bite out of each just to see what was in the middle!

Over at my Sister's in Stamping blog this month we're focusing on techniques. Last week we did 2-step stamping and this week it's embossing. So I decided to emboss the little chocolate tops on the pieces of candy. I used a Versa Marker and Clear Embossing Powder.

I always think of pink and brown to when I think of chocolate candy?

If you haven't tried out the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders made to use with the Big Shot, you simply must! I love the embossing folders and there are a couple new ones that are some of my favorite items from the new catalog!!
