More Than Rubber Stamps!

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! carries a line of jewelry? Their line of jewelry is called Simply Adorned, and it consists of beautiful charms of various sizes, coordinating chains and bracelets, and an assortment of other adornments and baubles. What is unique about this jewelry line is that the charms are lockets made of tempered glass and they are waiting to be filled with your custom artwork, personal photos, favorite quote … the possibilities are limitless. You can truly coordinate your jewelry with your mood, your clothes, and even the seasons.

Not much of a jewelry person? These can also make elegantly personal gifts for a new mom, your mom, a bride-to-be, a special friend, a graduate, a grandmother … are you starting to see the possibilities? Just grab a small piece of card stock, or even a scrap, and start creating. Our Designer Series Papers also make the perfect backdrop inside of the Simply Adorned Charms. Choose from Beyond the Garden (#122342) or Greenhouse Gala (#117167) for a flowery foundation for a summer Simply Adorned insert.

And while you can use any design of stamps you like, there are some especially suitable sets for working with the Simply Adorned charms. Check out the following for your next Simply Adorned project:

My sister, Sherry, has a birthday coming up in a couple days, and since we're focusing on our Simply Adorned jewelry line over on my Sisters In Stamping blog this week, I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and make my sister a necklace!

Here it is a little closer up. Notice the little pearl half that I put in the upper right corner above the S.

And here is the reverse side with a picture of her three darling kids !

This is the picture before I made it black and white and shrunk it down to fit the necklace!

Simply Adorned 24" Chain #116800 $10.95
