Pacific Stampers’ Group Holiday Potluck!
Our group usually meets the first Friday of every month, but every December, in lieu of our meeting we have a holiday potluck! We eat, drink, be merry, play games, and stamp a little! Here are some pictures from our party! Enjoy!
Some of the gals made favors for everyone!

Brenda's favor!

Jane's favor!

Krista's favor!

Michelle U's favor! (And she didn't even get to come to the party!)
We also did a grab bag. Here are some of the grab bag gifts. I didn't get a chance to take a
picture of all of them, but they were all fabulous!!

Grab bag gift made by Krista. This little treasure trove is made from rectangular
coasters and was full of Stampin' Up! goodies!

This grab bag was made by Michelle P. The bag (upper right) had cards and this
little mini scrapbook in it! So darling!

This grab bag was made by Naoko! So beautiful and creative!

This grab bag was made by Stephanie! This is a magnetic board that you can hang by the
ribbon with calendar and magnets! Too cute!
And we played some games!

Drawing the Delightful Decorations stamp set on their heads!

And unwrapping a gift with many of layers of gift wrap, with oven mitts on their hands!

Music played for 15 seconds and when the music stopped the person had to pass the gift to the next person.
The person holding the gift when the last layer of wrapping paper came off, got to keep the gift.
We also had tons of food, and stamped a little tag, laughed and just had a wonderful time!
I have such a great group and I am very thankful for all that they bring to my life!

Pacific Stampers Group Meeting and Swap 10-30-09
Our group meeting is usually the first Friday of every month, but this month we decided to move the meeting back a week and do it on the last Friday of the month, so we could have a little Halloween party/meeting. Dressing up was optional, but stamping, eating, drinking and having fun was mandatory!

Here are Naoko a.k.a. Pochahontas, Michelle a.k.a. Good-bye Kitty, and me.

We had tons of yummy food, including some tasty Halloween goodies.

Some special treats. This one was from Brenda. I love Look bars and promptly ate mine after taking this picture!
J
These two were from Lorinne. Sweet Treat Cup filled with M&Ms and a cute little spider!

This cute little treat was made by Michelle filled with Halloween candies!

And this cute treat bag was made my Shelby, filled again with Halloween goodies!
Thanks for the treats. Now I don't have to raid the kids bags this year!
We also had some great swaps! Our theme was Thanksgiving cards.

Card by Krista.

Card by Lorinne.

Card by Naoko.

Card by Jacque.

Card by Shelby.
Joni Hirasa lead our project this month, and let everyone make a cute little jar from Ikea that was decorated with items that she taught us how to alter. For example, Joni taught us all how to die ribbon, flowers from the Pretties kit, and also the crocheted flowers from the Fleurettes ll kit. I didn't get a chance to make mine, so unfortunately I don't have a picture of this cute project, but I'll work on getting it done so you can see it! Thanks Joni for the wonderful project!
If you would like information on joining our group and joining in the fun, please feel free to call or email me! We'd love to have you join us!!

Pacific Stampers Group Meeting 10-2-09

And my not-so-darling creation!

Jane’s simple and elegant creation!

Joni Haraga’s sweet treat!

Naoko’s neat "wiper" card!

Stephanie’s neat hidden message card!

And Brenda made this cute little Halloween treat for us! Oh no, Frankie’s head exploded. Looks like he ate too many Skittles!

And Joni Hirasa made this cute little Halloween treat for everyone. Look at that cute little clip that uses the Curly Label punch! How clever and cute!!

Here is our group project, designed for us by Michelle! Michelle is so talented and I love her use of colors and sets! I’ll stop now before I get too (candy) corny, but thanks Michelle for a wonderful and fun project!!

This cute little bonus project was brought to us by Jane. She had a template to show us on how to get four matchbox dies out of one sheet of 12 x 12. I thought she was just going to show us the template, but she brought supplies for us all to make this cute little matchbox as well! When you slide it open, the little bear pops out (he’s on a Window Sheet tab). We thought it would be cute to put gummy bears or Teddy Grahams in the box! Thanks Jane!!

And finally, I couldn’t resist sharing with you this cute little basket that Michelle made for me!! The basket in itself is so cute, but Michelle filled it with yummy little bite size cookies and a Strawberry Shopping Bag! You open the top of the strawberry, and a little shopping bags unfolds out! I love it, and my niece did too the next day! I had to make sure it didn’t go home with her! Thank you again Michelle for this cute and very thoughtful gift!
I have such a great group of gals! So talented, fun and giving! Wouldn’t you like to be a part of our group?!?

Pacific Stampers Group Meeting 9-4-09
My group, The Pacific Stampers, and I meet the first Friday of every month for fun, food, friendship, and stamping! Here are some of the swaps that were made and the fabulous project that we did!
We didn’t have many swaps this month as everyone has been busy getting ready for our upcoming Stamp Camp.

Card made by Jane Nishiguchi.

Pull on the tag for the Birthday greeting!

Card made by Brenda Ballesteros aka Punch Queen.

I couldn’t figure out how to make my camera get a good picture of this beautiful card that Naoko made. She used Shimmer Paint over the background image and the flower. It was really stunning and I’m sorry that I couldn’t capture it properly!

Stephanie, one of our newest members of the group made us all this cute little treat filled with candy! Yum! Thanks Stephanie!
And last, but certainly not least, the darling project that we made!

Jane is holding the bag that we stenciled using the Cheep Talk stencils found on page 31 of the Definitely Decorative Fall-Winter 2009 brochure. Shelby Dissinger lead our project for us and even made the bags as she couldn’t find any that she liked. We all got to choose which stencils from the set that we wanted to use and the colors that we wanted! Many of us had never used the stencils before and it was so much fun! Thank you again Shelby for the fun and oh so cute project!!

Here is the darling project that we made. It’s a little coaster recipe book! Our fantastic project designer was Shelby Nakama.
Thanks Shelby for the fun and cute recipe book!!

Here is the cover for the recipe book. Used the Crop-A-Dile to punch the holes for the metal rings.
The rings are big enough that more pages can be added later!

Even though I not much of a cook (or baker), I’ll have to try a couple of these recipes out!
This one is for Basic Cheesecake! We used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set for this one.

Chinese Chick Salad Dressing. We used the Park Avenue Patterns stamp set, and I love the cute
Flower Fusion felt flower and the jumbo brad!

This one sounds yummy! Crab Rangoon! Used the Just Beachy stamp set from the Occasions Mini.

Dip-It Chicken! We used the Darling Dots stamp set for this one. This set retires the end of June!

Simple Pasta Dish. This is one that I think I can do!
We used the Scene in a Garden stamp set and Watercolor Crayons for this one!
If you would like information on ordering any of the supplies used to make these cards and project, or if you would like information on joining my group, please feel free to call or email me!
