Pacific Stampers Group Meeting and Swap 10-30-09
Our group meeting is usually the first Friday of every month, but this month we decided to move the meeting back a week and do it on the last Friday of the month, so we could have a little Halloween party/meeting. Dressing up was optional, but stamping, eating, drinking and having fun was mandatory!

Here are Naoko a.k.a. Pochahontas, Michelle a.k.a. Good-bye Kitty, and me.

We had tons of yummy food, including some tasty Halloween goodies.

Some special treats. This one was from Brenda. I love Look bars and promptly ate mine after taking this picture!

These two were from Lorinne. Sweet Treat Cup filled with M&Ms and a cute little spider!

This cute little treat was made by Michelle filled with Halloween candies!

And this cute treat bag was made my Shelby, filled again with Halloween goodies!
Thanks for the treats. Now I don't have to raid the kids bags this year!
We also had some great swaps! Our theme was Thanksgiving cards.

Joni Hirasa lead our project this month, and let everyone make a cute little jar from Ikea that was decorated with items that she taught us how to alter. For example, Joni taught us all how to die ribbon, flowers from the Pretties kit, and also the crocheted flowers from the Fleurettes ll kit. I didn't get a chance to make mine, so unfortunately I don't have a picture of this cute project, but I'll work on getting it done so you can see it! Thanks Joni for the wonderful project!
If you would like information on joining our group and joining in the fun, please feel free to call or email me! We'd love to have you join us!!

Spooky Expressions Halloween Jar!
I saw these cute jars at WalMart and just knew they would be cute with our Spooky Expressions Halloween Decor Elements!

The Spooky Expressions Decor Elements #117568 are only $4.95 and come with three different "spooky" expressions, so I can make three of these cute jars!

I put the decor element on the jar, added some 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, and stamped a little tag! I used our Eat, Drink & Be Scary stamp set, our Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, and our Stampin’ Write Markers to make the tag.

Here’s a close up view of the tag.

And filled up with candy ready for me to give to my favorite little monsters!
Place an order through my online store and I’ll send you detailed instructions with color pictures on how to best to apply!

Pacific Stampers Group Meeting 10-2-09
Our group meeting this past Friday night was as fun as ever. We had great swaps, TWO wonderful projects, and lots of yummy food!

Our swap theme this month was Halloween cards. Here is Brenda’s darling creation!

And my not-so-darling creation!

Jane’s simple and elegant creation!

Joni Haraga’s sweet treat!

Naoko’s neat "wiper" card!

Stephanie’s neat hidden message card!

And Brenda made this cute little Halloween treat for us! Oh no, Frankie’s head exploded. Looks like he ate too many Skittles!

And Joni Hirasa made this cute little Halloween treat for everyone. Look at that cute little clip that uses the Curly Label punch! How clever and cute!!

Here is our group project, designed for us by Michelle! Michelle is so talented and I love her use of colors and sets! I’ll stop now before I get too (candy) corny, but thanks Michelle for a wonderful and fun project!!

This cute little bonus project was brought to us by Jane. She had a template to show us on how to get four matchbox dies out of one sheet of 12 x 12. I thought she was just going to show us the template, but she brought supplies for us all to make this cute little matchbox as well! When you slide it open, the little bear pops out (he’s on a Window Sheet tab). We thought it would be cute to put gummy bears or Teddy Grahams in the box! Thanks Jane!!

And finally, I couldn’t resist sharing with you this cute little basket that Michelle made for me!! The basket in itself is so cute, but Michelle filled it with yummy little bite size cookies and a Strawberry Shopping Bag! You open the top of the strawberry, and a little shopping bags unfolds out! I love it, and my niece did too the next day! I had to make sure it didn’t go home with her! Thank you again Michelle for this cute and very thoughtful gift!
I have such a great group of gals! So talented, fun and giving! Wouldn’t you like to be a part of our group?!?
