Choo Choo!

Have you noticed that I'm making more masculine cards?!? I'm really trying to make more of them and with the great stamp sets and designer series paper that we've gotten recently from Stampin' Up!, it's been a little easier! I made this one with the new The Open Sea stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog. I love the new Baker's Twine from the mini catalog too! It takes the place of ribbon and adds the right masculine touch to this card!

Sunny Fun!
Aren't these flip flops so cute?! I wear flip flops year round here in Hawaii, and wish I had some just like these! I made this card for my Stamp-A-Stack this month! The set I used is called Sunny Fun and is from the Summer Mini Catalog! There are other cute stamps in this set, so I'll be making some more cards to share with you soon!

Summer Splash Turtle Card!
Here is my turtle birthday card using the Summer Splash stamp set that I promised on Friday! I decided to make a monochomatic card for my first time using this stamp! More will be coming! I just love this cute little turtle! I know Jacie will too! She loves to make cards and I know that she'll have fun with this set!

Summer Splash Too!
Over on my Sisters in Stamping blog this Friday we are each showing a card or project using our personal favorites from the new Summer Mini Catalog! My favorite new set is the Summer Splash set on page 17!! Yesterday I posted the boy version of this card and here is my girl version! I'm going to get a lot of use from this set as I think it makes great kids' birthday cards. And not just the surfboards! Check back on Sunday when I'll post another kids' birthday card using the cute little turtle from this set! And I'm not done creating with this set! I still want to use the octopus and the fish and matching Fish Frenzy jumbo wheel!!
You probably can't tell from the picture, but I stamped the middle surfboard again on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, cut it out, and popped it off using a Stampin' Dimensional. I also added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the girl version (I so wanted to add it to the boy version too, but didn't).
Summer Splash!
I love this new stamp set, Summer Splash from the new Summer Mini Catalog! Living in Hawaii, you can imagine that I'll get a lot of use from this fun set! Here is a card that I made using the surfboards stamp from this set. I used DSP from the Pawsitively Prints DSP pack and chose prints that I thought were boyish. Check back tomorrow, when I'll post my girlish version!

Flight of the Butterfly!
Here's a quick and easy birthday card that we made at my last Stamp-A-Stack. It's so much prettier in real life as the butterflies are "popped off" the card and their pretty wings stick up like they are in flight! They also have a little glitter on their wings for a little summer time sparkle!

Artistic Etchings Birthday Card!
I love the black, white and red color combination. So many stamps, so little time, but I think I'm going to make more black and white cards and more black, white and red cards! They are classic color combinations that it's hard to go wrong with! On this card however, I used a variation of Real Red, and also used Very Vanilla versus a bright white. Same classic results!
