Happy Friday! It's been a long week as I was in Las Vegas for a trade show for my non-stamping job. It was a good trip and the weather wasn't too hot, but I'm happy to be back in Hawaii!
Today I'd like to share with you a card that I made using the Field Flowers stamp set. I also used two sizes of the Labels Collection Framelits, sponged the smaller size, and then layered them.
The embossed background was done using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Finally, and I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but I sprayed the card with Vanilla Smooch Spritz to give it a soft shimmery finish.
Be sure to check out what my stamping sister's created this week over on our Sister's in Stamping blog. Thanks so much, as always, for stopping by! I hope you have a fun stamping weekend!
I really like the new Embellished Events set found on page 40 of the new catalog! It's so versatile and has great images and matching greetings. Over on my Sisters in Stamping blog this week, we're sharing cards made with one of my favorite accessories in the whole catalog! It's what I look for first when we get a new catalog or new mini! Can you guess what it is? If you said Designer Series Paper, you're close, but my absolute favorite accessory is embossing folders! They're so easy to use, inexpensive and add so much to a card or project. For me, they're a great bang for the buck!
I used Stampin' Up! markers on the stamp image to match the colors in my second favorite item, the (Floral District) Designer Series Paper. I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder!
And added a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give the candle flames and flowers a little bit of sparkle!
If you'd like more information on embossing folders, or would like to order some for yourself, let me know, or you can order from my online store 24/7. Click on the link below to head over to my store!

Do you know a little girl that likes to dress up or has a birthday coming up? Here is a cute little tutu that you can make along with a coordinating tutu birthday card! Change the fabric colors and designs and you have a cute little tutu for other events and holidays too!
This week over on my Sisters in Stamping blog we're sharing projects made with stamps from the Growing Up section of the new catalog, pages 59 – 68. I always need kids' birthday cards so when I saw this set in the new catalog, I knew right away that I just had to have it.
I thought it would be cute to put the little astronaut in the space capsule so I punched the a hole in the card front and stamp the little guy (gal) in the inside of the card.
I also used the matching jumbo wheel, Outer Space on the front of the card, punched out the planet and had a very quick and easy card made in no time!

This sweet gift set makes a pretty birthday presentation! The uniquely made hinged gift box is perfect for holding a small treasure or candy treat. Here's something new to try! How about a gift card bouquet and a matching fun-fold card too!?! Well by now you've probably seen the retiring stamp set and accessories lists! Every year a few of my favorite stamp sets retire and this is one of them. The Happiest Birthday Wishes hostess stamp set. It's a great birthday greeting set and I use it a lot because I make a lot of birthday cards! Although I won't be able to demonstrate with this set after it retires, I will keep it for my own personal use as the birthday greetings in this set are so nice and versatile!
I used Peach Parfait, Wild Wasabi and Regal Rose Stampin' Write Markers to color in the image.
The Cupcake Builder punch made it easy to make this cute cupcake too.
Over on my Sisters in Stamping blog this week, we're sharing cards or projects made using stamp sets and/or other items that are on the retiring lists. Take a look and remember if you want anything on the lists, you have until May 31st (or while supplies last with the accessories), to purchase from the current catalog. Our new catalog will be coming out June 1st!
Have a great weekend!
