Do you have some precious treasure that you would like to give to someone? What better way to keep it safe than in this Treasure Chest Gift Box?! The Treasure Chest would also make a wonderful decoration or card holder at a buccaneer's pirate party or a pretty princesses' party! The gift box is 5" tall and 8" wide and is just waiting to be filled with treasures!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great stamping weekend!
Sorry, I meant to post this card last night, but if you live in Mililani, you know we had a power outage! I was working on my computer when boom, I was totally in the dark!! I bought a battery powered lantern a couple weeks ago and stumbled out to the garage to find it. Two stubbed toes later, I found it and low and behold it takes 8 D batteries!! Since I only had two on hand, I resorted to candles until the power came back on a couple hours later! Oh how I take electricity for granted!!
Over on my Sisters in Stamping blog this week, we're showcasing the Paper-Piercing Packs! There's one in the big catalog and one in the Holiday Mini catalog! I love these new Paper-Piercing Packs and how they match stamp sets, punches, dies, Edgelits, and Framelits! Makes your paper-piercing soooo easy!!
For this card I used the Layered Labels stamp set, which has a coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits set, and the coordinating Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack! I also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.
After piercing, I added two Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the ends of the sentiment. I was hoping for a masculine look, so I guess I could have left the rhinestones off, but they were calling to be used on the card and I couldn't resist!
I used the September Creating Pretty Cards sketch over at Craft Project Central, which made it even easier to create this card! Check out the sketch which comes with a free mini sketch tutorial each month and a chance to win a free subscription!
Thanks as always for stopping by! I hope you have a fun weekend and get some stamping time in!
Get a jump start on your Halloween projects! These cute containers can hold great treats for your kids, co-workers, teachers, and friends! And if you don't celebrate Halloween or make Halloween treats, you can still use the templates to make goodies for other occasions or holidays!
This lovely ensemble makes the perfect gift or project for an upcoming class or workshop! The tea bag box holds several tea bags, and the coordinating card is sure to "wow" them when they open it and see the pop-up tea cup!
Small gift/treat boxes are nice to have on hand, and they're even better when they can be folded and stored flat until ready to use. This project ensemble includes a flat-fold box, a decorative floral adornment, and four note cards, complete with coordinating envelopes! And using the cute Hoop La La stamp set, it makes a great gift for those that love cross stitch! This project is a quick, easy, and fun class project and also makes a great craft fair project to make and sell!
Have a great stamping weekend!
This basket of note cards makes a cute and useful gift for someone special. It is especially fitting as a housewarming gift, but who wouldn't love having these great, ready-to-use cards with coordinating envelopes?! This project also makes a great class, club or camp project!
With autumn fast approaching, it's time to turn our thoughts to sweaters, crispy leaves, and Thanksgiving dinners (October 8th for our Canadian friends!). This project will help you get set for your family get together by providing instructions on a warm and inviting holiday table setting, including a centerpiece, place cards, favors for your guests, a 'grateful' box for your guests to write what they are grateful for, and so much more! Just add the food, the family and friends, and you're ready to go!
This cute little vampire owl sits atop a clamshell box full of Halloween treats! The finished box is 4" x 4", which will hold a lot of monster munchies or perhaps some other bootiful gifts! A simple and fun gift for kids and adults alike! Also a great project for your classes, clubs and camps!
TGIF!! Although I had a great week this week, I'm glad that it's Friday! I had two Stamp-A-Stack classes this week, which I always look forward to as I get to see and stamp with many of my stamping friends! Here is one of the five card designs that we made this week.
We used the Friendly Phrases stamp set and the rest of the card is done using Big Shot dies, punches and Floral District designer series paper!
I designed this card with the Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge #15 in mind. Head over to Craft Project Central for the details on this sketch challenge, a mini sketch tutorial, and to see other cards posted for this challenge!
Hope you have a great stamping weekend!!
