Did Someone Say FREE Stamps?!

Well by now, you've probably heard all about Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotion of the year and hopefully you've been able to take advantage of this great promotion at least once and hopefully more times!  I myself have earned several new FREE stamp sets, and have even received two of the super cute Shopping Totes that you can get FREE with a $150 order and that's on top of the three free items that you'll earn with the order!!

Here's a card that I made for my last Stamp-A-Stack that uses the Sprinkled Expressions FREE (can you tell I love that word!?!)  stamp set!  The set has three cute images and three matching greetings.  I also used the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper from the Occasion Mini Catalog.

You have until March 31st to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration and earn some fun FREE sets and accessories.  But don't wait!  This is the time of the year that I stock up on the supplies that I use year round, card stock, envelopes, adhesives.  They're things that I'm going to purchase anyway, so why not get something FREE while doing so!!  Now is also a good time to purchase some of those items that you've had on your wish list.  The Big Shot, a set of the Stampin' Write Markers, a Stamp Pad Caddy, you name it.

If you don't already have the Sale-A-Bration catalog you can download it from my left side bar.  Then you can place your order with me by phone or email, or you can order from my web site at your convenience 24/7, even in your jammies!

Happy Stamping and have a wonderful weekend!!

Edgelits and Framelits – What are they?!?

If you've seen the new Occasions Mini Catalog that came out last month, you've probably heard a lot about the new Edgelits and Framelits that Stampin' Up! now has in their product line!  So what exactly are Framelits and Edgelits?

Are thin, wafter-like dies that let you see where you're placing the design before you cut!  You can layer the dies inside of each other to cut frames for stamp images.  You can also cut single pieces for accents and layering.  Stampin' Up! now offers two sets of Framelits; the Hearts Collection and the Labels Collection.  Each collection includes 6 dies in a sturdy envelope for easy storage.

Hearts Collection #125599 $26.95

Labels Collection #125598 $26.95

Edgelits are just like Framelits in that they are thin wafer-like designs that allow you to see where you're placing the design before you cut.  The difference as you can see, is that the Framelits, frame your design, and Edgelits, edge your design.

Adorning Accents Edgelits #125595 $9.95

As you can see on my card, I used the top Adorning Accents Edgelit to cut the bottom edge of my Designer Series Paper layer, and I also used the Labels Collection die to cut the card stock that I stamped the flowers on.

In addition, I used the Adorning Accents embossing folders to emboss the card stock card base under the Designer Series Paper.

Adorning Accents Embossing Folders #125601 $8.95

Year of Cards Gift Box!

Do you have too many birthdays and occasions to remember?  Or, do you know someone who would love to receive a years worth of occasion cards?  This beautiful and sturdy gift box contains six portfolios with a pocket for each month of the year.  On each month's pocket there is a tag where you can write names, dates, and occasions for that month to help you remember all of those special dates and occasions!  Each pocket in the portfolio will hold five to six A2 size cards and envelopes depending on how bulky the cards are.  That means that this beautiful gift box can hold 60 – 72 cards and envelopes!  This project is also a great class project!
