Stocking Gift Card Holder!

It seems like every year there are one or more people that I just don't know what to get for Christmas, so a gift card comes to the rescue!  I like to make cute gift card holders to add a personal touch to a (semi) impersonal gift!  The Holiday Stocking die from the Holiday Mini Catalog makes an easy and cute gift card holder perfect for male or female, old or young alike!

I did a front and back on this stocking and then just glued around the edges, so the gift card will slide all the way to the bottom or you can leave it peeking out of the top of the stocking.  I used the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper and matching Cherry Cobbler accents.

Here's another one that I did that is a little bit more masculine.  I sold a bunch of these at Craft Fairs this year, seems a lot of people are giving gift cards this year too!  I've got some more samples to share with you that I'll be posting in the next few days after I get done with the Mililani High School craft fair on Saturday and the Rubberstamp and Scrapbook Expo at the Blaisdell on Sunday!  If you're in the neighborhood for either event, please stop by and say hi!

Over on my Sisters in Stamping blog today we're sharing gift card holders, so you'll want to zip on over there to see what my talented stamping sisters created.

Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by to visit!

Christmas Thank You Card!

Okay, I haven't even started my personal Christmas cards yet this year, and I'm designing a Christmas Thank You card!  In anticipation of all the lovely gifts I'll be receiving this year??  No, because over on my Sisters in Stamping blog this week, we're sharing Christmas Thank You cards that will hopefully inspire you to make a few and send them out for the lovely gifts that you receive this year!!  Check out the cards that my talented stamping sisters created too!

Even though the card will be used and sent out after Christmas, I still wanted it to have a holiday-ish look and feel to it.  So I used the Pines & Poinsettas stamp set.  Technically this card could be used year round as there isn't anything that identifies the card as a "Christmas" card.

I got the layout from the Creating Pretty Cards monthly card challenge over at Craft Project Central.  I loved having a sketch and not having to come up with a layout from scratch!

I'm going to be at the Mililani Recreation Center 5 Holiday Craft Fair tomorrow.  If you're in the neighborhood, please stop by and see me at my booth!  I'll have hand stamped gifts and cards for sale!

If I don't see you, have a fabulous weekend, and thanks as always for stopping by!!
