Happy Halloween 10-31-09
To end the busy soccer day, we had a Halloween Block Party and then took the kids Trick-or-Treating!

Here is my sister's family. Back row, Alexa, Alex and Sherry. Front row, Craig and Jacie!

Alexa was a Honey Bee, so appropriate as she is so sweet, Craig was a skeleton guy from Terminator?, and Jacie was a tough little Power Ranger!

Each year we take the kids out Trick-or-Treating with the neighbor kids. I think Frankie wanted a piece of Jacie's candy!

Okay, I did "help" the kids go through their candy when we got home. They did the traditional sorting and trading and I looked for PayDay candy bars. One of my favorites and not one to be found!
Hope you had a fun and safe Halloween!

Big Soccer Day 10-31-09
Today was a busy day filled with soccer and potlucks! Jacie had her last soccer game of her first season and Craig also had his last soccer game of this season.

Here is a picture of Jacie before the game, and then getting ready to kick the ball in the game!!

And with her trophy after the game. She was so excited and proud to get her first ever trophy. She has seen her big sister and brother get so many trophies over the years, and now she has one too. She wouldn't put it down for most of the day and even said she was going to sleep with it!!

And here is Craig with his trophy and his team also got a medal for being picked for good sportsman ship! This award is based on the team sportsmanship, the coaches and the parents!

Pacific Stampers Group Meeting and Swap 10-30-09
Our group meeting is usually the first Friday of every month, but this month we decided to move the meeting back a week and do it on the last Friday of the month, so we could have a little Halloween party/meeting. Dressing up was optional, but stamping, eating, drinking and having fun was mandatory!

Here are Naoko a.k.a. Pochahontas, Michelle a.k.a. Good-bye Kitty, and me.

We had tons of yummy food, including some tasty Halloween goodies.

Some special treats. This one was from Brenda. I love Look bars and promptly ate mine after taking this picture!

These two were from Lorinne. Sweet Treat Cup filled with M&Ms and a cute little spider!

This cute little treat was made by Michelle filled with Halloween candies!

And this cute treat bag was made my Shelby, filled again with Halloween goodies!
Thanks for the treats. Now I don't have to raid the kids bags this year!
We also had some great swaps! Our theme was Thanksgiving cards.

Joni Hirasa lead our project this month, and let everyone make a cute little jar from Ikea that was decorated with items that she taught us how to alter. For example, Joni taught us all how to die ribbon, flowers from the Pretties kit, and also the crocheted flowers from the Fleurettes ll kit. I didn't get a chance to make mine, so unfortunately I don't have a picture of this cute project, but I'll work on getting it done so you can see it! Thanks Joni for the wonderful project!
If you would like information on joining our group and joining in the fun, please feel free to call or email me! We'd love to have you join us!!
