I hope that you had a nice Thanksgiving!  In case you're not out shopping today, or need gift card holders for all the gift cards that you bought while out shopping, here is an easy to make gift card holder.

I also hope that you've been enjoying the other ideas that I've been posting of easy things that you can make for the holidays and your holiday gift giving.  I've posted several little gifts that are great for teachers, co-workers, neighbors, your friends, etc. and now with this little gift card holder, hopefully you're well on your way to making some fun and creative gifts!

Here is the outside of the gift card holder…

And here is the inside.  This little gift card holder was really easy to make and has only a little stamping (the snow flakes on the background).  The other elements are from our Simply Scrappin' Christmas Jingle Kit!  So these great kits are not just for scrapbooking!  I'll post a couple cards that I made using the same kit soon!

School Excursions!

I was lucky enough to be able to go on two school excursion this week.  One with Craig to the Urban Garden Center, and one with Jacie to the Lyon Arboritum.  Here are a couple pictures that I thought I would share with you!  Enjoy!

Here is a cute shot of my little Craigie boy!  He is such a good boy and loves learning about plants and animals!

Here are a couple pictures of some beautiful flowers that we have here in Hawaii, and not to rub it in to those of you in cold climates, we're still in the 80s everyday!

And here is my sweet little Jacie!  She is little, but can you believe the size of that leaf?!?

Have a GREAT weekend!

Holiday Stamp Camp 11-09

Welcome to our group's fourth annual Holiday Stamp Camp!!  We had such a fun day!  Everyone stamped four projects, had the opportunity to see a demonstration of the new My Digital Studio software, had a chance at fabulous door prizes, participated in a silent auction for great Stampin' Up! products and hand made treasures, had a yummy lunch, and just got to have fun crafting and socializing with old and new friends!

Here is the check in table before our guests started arriving!

Here is a close up of the guest bags filled with all kinds of goodies as well as project packets for the four projects that they made that day!

Here is the darling little welcome sign that Brenda made to welcome all of our guests to Stamp Camp!  Too cute!!

And everyone got to choose a favor when they checked in.  The favors were also made by our very talented Brenda!

Here are the door prizes that await some lucky stampers!!

Card entries for our card contest.  Everyone votes on their favorite card and the card with the most votes is the winner!

Some great samples to be inspired by!

Jane did a My Digital Studio demonstration for anyone wanting to learn more about this great new software.  She had great samples and was able to project the screen images up onto the wall for better viewing!

Jane created this picture with her My Digital Studio and then put it in this beautiful frame.  Love it!

Here are Blake and Krista, two sisters enjoying their stamping time together!

Happy stampers busy creating their holiday projects!

And more happy stampers!

And the winners are…congratulations gals!!

Sweet Season – Sweet Gift

In an effort to be "green" I have been saving nice containers with the hopes that I can use them for something useful in the future.  Here is a little treat gift that I made from a container that once contained cashews bought from Costco.  I know a lot of people think it's a hassle to get the labels off, but I use Goo Gone, get the label off, and then just wash in hot soapy water.

To decorate I used the following supplies:

Merry Moments Designer Series paper #115672

Sweet Seasons Stamp Set #116471

Real Red Card Stock #102482

Chocolate Chip Card Stock #102128

Scallop Edge Punch #112091

Wide Oval Punch #112082

Chocolate Chip 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon #115617
